How to trend a topic (for SHINee World)
For a topic to trend, what it needs is frequency.. however
Examples of tweets that won’t help trend a topic:
1. #SHINee #SHINee #SHINee #SHINee rocks! Trending trending!
(More than one #SHINee in a topic won’t help the topic to trend as it is considered as spam.)
2. #SHINee #Onew #Jonghyun #Key #Minho #Taemin lets trend!
(As long as there’s more than one # , it is considered as spam too. So it won’t help the topic to trend)
3. #SHINee
(This won’t help it to trend too as you need other words inside a tweet for it to count.)
4. Putting #SHINee in every tweet of yours may work, but, the amount of people doing that increases the chances.
So instead of just a small amount of people (e.g. 20) posting #SHINee in every tweet of theirs, it is much more effective if like, 100 people posts #SHINee in every other tweet of theirs.
Trending topics without hash tags
1. 2nd SHINeeversary #SHINee congratulations!
This will work and will help in trending both 2nd SHINeeversary and #SHINee
2. 2nd SHINeeversary 2nd SHINeeversary 2nd SHINeeversary
As stated above, DO NOT do this, it will not help in trending at all and will only be treated as spam

Try to avoid instances like this, it is safer if you leave a space before and after the trending topic. E.G.

I’m not sure if the twitter database will record this as spam, but it is recommended if u put other text inside.
To avoid trending topics to be edited out when you retweet, it is recommended if you put it at the front of the tweet.
i’m waiting for the day people start tweeting #damnitsshineeagain =x cause it means that SHINee’s so famous that they’re constantly in trend and others are so tired of people mentioning SHINee that they’ve started this trending topic.
